Moresby State School is a Queensland State School located 12 - 14 km south of Innisfail, on the Bruce Highway. It caters for Prepatory through to year 7. The current enrolment is 17 students.
 Its humble beginnings dates back to 1915, providing a school for its sugar cane farming community. It grew in student numbers over the years and the school developed into a highly recognisable service to the area. Whilst Moresby School is small it has all the facilities available to the student as does a larger school. It offers quality education and students have access to plenty of resources.
We encourage our students to develop in personal growth socially, emotionally and academically. Virtues such as integrity, respect, responsibility and confidence are just some of the qualities we try to instil in our students to help them achieve their goals successfully and become a valued member of the school community. |
